The Source

Since 1999 and to the present, Oxford International School’s newsmagazine has been published by a publishing committee composed by the English and Spanish Departments.
The magazine’s name went through an election process among students in 1998 who proposed several names. “The Source” was chosen as the preferred one for most students.
As of 2000, four issues were printed every year: one every two months, until the year 2009. The objective of this magazine is to spread our students’ school, cultural, and sport life within and out of the high school. Since then it became the appropriate space to gather OIS memories over the years.
Its pages contain news written by students and teachers, educational and opinion articles related to the national and international reality, entertainment, drawings, photographs, etc. From the beginning, the magazine has been possible thanks to the support of the companies of students’ parents, our suppliers, customers and friends, who advertise in the magazine to reach OIS educational community.
The magazine is currently printed and distributed among the students. Its digital version is also available on the high school webpage.
