Laboratory experiences are a fundamental part of our science curricula; therefore our science lab is carefully examined in order to maintain all the resources necessary. A detailed report is prepared each year outlining the goals and the instructional design that will be followed in order to obtain the learning outcomes in the areas of Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
Once the learning outcomes are outlined, materials and equipment necessary are replenished and augmented to ensure that students can carry on experiment. A cautious selection of these experiments is done though the collaborative effort of science professors and the lab assistant.
The structural design of the lab facilities guarantees its fitness for purpose. It provides proper ventilation, natural and artificial lighting, and stainless steel. The laboratory facilities comply with Panamanian requirements and accreditation standards outlined by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleagues.
